Where would we be without the 4 legged ones to share or lives with. Their endless devotion and love is what drives us to continue on.

Animal Clinic of Enfield's TILLY FUND

February 2011

Patient 1 was a cat that was brought into another veterinary office due to urinary issues and was requested that the cat be euthanised. The owners were asked if we could treat the cat and place it in a home that could continue its care. The owners agreed and the cat came to ACOE.  ACOE treated the cat and it is now with a loving family and is doing very well and on the road to recovery.

Patient 2 came to ACOE as a surrender by his owner.  The owner's young children are severly allergic to the cats in the house, they have two senior pets who were in need of our assistance. The first cat came to us and warmed the heart of one of our clients who had recently lost his two own cats a month before (his two cats were previous
Tilly Fund beneficiaries) and has made her home with him. We hear that she is setting all the rules now.

The second cat came to ACOE 16-years young. On that same day, another of our clients came in and said he had grieved the loss of his cat for long enough and was ready but would like an older cat because his other cat at home was 16 and wouldn't like a young cat bothering her. His eyes and heart lit up when we told him we had a cat come in that very morning.  It was love at first sight and he took him home the next day.  I hear that his female cat gave a little hiss and the new cat said "well so" and that was all that was said we will keep you updated on future stories.

ACOE would like to send a BIG thank you to all who support our
Tilly Fund.  It is through your generosity that we are able to make a difference for these pets and their people.
